“This is a game of medieval fantasy, played using the feudal standards and idealism as a foundation.
Offering a chance to experience vicariously all of the wonderful “might-have-beens” or “could-haves” in that setting.

Player character have a limited freedom to be virtually anything they wish to be.

With up to (but not limited to) 12 character races, 8 sub-races, 15 classes and 24 titles and ranks. – Of both the privileged of elite society and also the not so privileged, but deadly ruffians.

The game is designed using Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 4.0 standards.
What this means to you, is that AD&D 4.0 has been used as a foundation to create this campaign.
You may use 4.0 guides with this game when designing your character but be sure to double check with the Dungeon Master each time you wish to make a change to your character. The reason is just because it’s in the book doesn’t mean that it’s in our world, and vice-versa.

Your Dungeon Master is pro old school rules and the bottom line rule was harsh yes, but simple

The DM retains final say contrary to any book or rule.

After that, take a look at your wiki. There is some more helpful info there.
